OUR WORK DEVELOPS STRONGER HBCU BRANDS SO THAT THEY HAVE A MORE COMPELLING VALUE PROPOSITION AND BECOMES A MAGNET FOR RECRUITMENT.

There is a rich tradition and legacy at HBCUs with a culture that runs deep. We also know that HBCUs have unique constraints and has to do more with less. At HBCU Branding Agency, we use audience engagement, digital storytelling, and high impact messaging to transform educational institutions into engaging brands.

We also work with consumer brands who see the value in engaging Black millennials and understand the cultural movements that Black millennials lead.

The HBCU universe is strengthened by alumni who have accomplished some amazing things. Our approach is to weave all of this into a singular brand narrative that ultimately raises the university’s national profile, supports student recruitment, and deeply engages alumni as givers and contributors to the university’s continued growth.

We’ve worked with Florida A&M University during the university’s hazing crisis and played a major role in repairing the university’s image. We’ve been the Agency of Record for the annual Florida Blue Florida Classic between Florida A&M University and Bethune Cookman University, and we also worked on a marketing campaign with the Atlanta Football Classic. When Tyler Perry Studios wanted to engage Black millennials for an upcoming film release, we developed and executed a promotional multi-campus HBCU tour.
